  1. I have been in an accident - What should I do?
  2. The Insurance Company will not pay me what I think my car is worth or my injury claim.
  3. Why can't I just wait and see if the insurance company will make me a reasonable offer?
  4. How much will my lawyer charge me?
  5. Do you handle my type of case?

  1. Contact a lawyer as soon as possible. Do not give a statement to anyone other than the police. Take pictures of the damage to your automobile and of your injuries as soon as possible. Try to obtain the names and addresses of any witnesses.

  2. Contact a lawyer as soon as possible. Your claims are likely worth significantly more than the insurance company has offered for either your injury claim or property damage claim. In addition, any loss on you may sustain on your property damage claim will likely be offset by the recovery obtained for your injury claim. We typically do not charge a fee for handling your property damage claim when it is related to your injury claim.

  3. First, you will not know if the offer is reasonable or not. Second, you need a lawyer with experience in this area. Third, delaying an investigation by a lawyer on your behalf will likely result in lost evidence and lost compensation. The sooner you obtain legal counsel to represent your interest, the better off you are. Be aware that the other side is already investigating your claim with an eye toward denying your claim.

  4. We will tell you right up front what your fees will be. For personal injury cases, we charge a contingent fee. As a result, you pay no fees unless a recovery is obtained in your favor. We advance all expenses incurred in the pursuit of your injury claim. In all other cases, we charge either an hourly rate of a fixed fee. You will be advised of those fees right up front, and a written fee agreement with be executed.

  5. We have the expertise and experience to handle almost any legal case in which you may become involved. In the unlikely event that we do not have the experience to handle your case, we will put you in touch with an attorney with the necessary experience to handle your case or co-counsel with other attorneys if necessary.
